Speeding up the Internet

single jenter skien We are currently keep getting asked how can we speed up our Internet on old circuits and believe you me, we currently have over 500+ connections which we review the Exchanges and Cabinets to see if we can upgrade your circuit to FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) as soon as possible.  Sometimes this is the simplest thing to do, other times we have to think clever.  First thing we do is look at when (if ever) your exchange is going to be upgrade to FTTC, if it isn’t going to be upgraded within the next 12 months then we look at alternatives, such as Duel Wan, Bonded, 4G / Satellite or Lease Line.  Sometimes we even Switch Providers within House  as certain Suppliers we use do certain type of circuits compared to others.  As the End User, you still deal with our Trained In House Staff, but we deal with all of the Migration.

Cloud Computing Vs You

Cloud Computing vs You, is in effect you versus the IT industry.

Today, there is huge speculation about how we should work, when we should work and on what we should work with.  It is a mine field and in good old IT experience, there is not 1 set way of achieving this.  The Only thing I can suggest is that you look at how you are working now and go with that solution, but always be thinking about tomorrow.  If you going to grow in size and volume of staff, there is no point in blind and saving Pence on Hardware, Spend wisely and make sure you can always upgrade.

We see it a great deal within the industry where somebody has purchased equipment which is below recommended specification, but hey, it saves a couple of pence, only to find out later that the equipment is neither use nor ornament.

Cloud Computing is Very Good and Very Clever, however, you have to look at different variables for when things go wrong, such as multiple Internet Connections, 3 / 4G for Backup, Hosting Company goes Bust.  What would you do if you could not access your Data?

EE’s 4G LTE rollout continues apace, with the super-fast mobile network now reaching 50 towns and cities across the UK.

The company just added another 13 locations to its 4G roster, bringing the total number up to 50.

So which are the new towns and cities to be covered by EE? They are Bradford, Bingley, Doncaster, Dudley, Harpenden, Leicester, Lichfield, Loughborough, Luton, Reading, Shipley, St Albans and West Bromwich.

The rollout is now ahead of schedule, apparently, and EE 4G is now accessible to more than 50 per cent of the UK population, the company boasts.
